The Results of the Storm

The weatherman said that the worst has now passed us. More rain today and tomorrow, but nothing like what it's been the last few days. It has been so windy and rainy! Taking Evan to preschool and Edie and Kendall to kindergarten was a test of faith because I thought we were all going to blow away!

Yesterday I discovered our neighbor's tree resting against our house.I was home all morning and didn't hear a crash, so I think the fence took most of it. Too bad, it's our new fence. But it's way better than our house, so I'll count our blessings. Our neighbor has a guy coming tomorrow to take it away.

We are venturing out today to the grocery store to restock our shelves. I bet the rest of Northern California will be there, too!
