More fun with Beebe & Conrad

Last week when Elizabeth and "Little" Conrad visited, we went to the park for some fun. The boys had fun sliding on the cement slides, even though we got rained out after only an hour. We went home wet, muddy and happy.

My Little Scientists

Here are lots of pics from our day at the Exploratorium in San Fransisco with Elizabeth and Tyler...

We had so much fun! Drew and Dean really like all the experiments. Even the adults learned new things. And what really made the outting wonderful: Edie took a nice nap in the back back and Baby Conrad slept the entire time in his stroller! The kids have requested we go back the next time we are in San Fransisco.

Looking for Santa?

This is Edie's new hang out! The fireplace. Not only is this dangerous (OK, not really, we never use it) it's really dirty. Note the fake ashes that are supposed to make the fake logs in the gas fireplace look semi-real. She gets them all over the living room if I don't catch her right away! Pie thinks I'm encouraging this behavior by taking pictures, but I'm only gathering evidence to prove to her, at some future time, what a handful she was. I've taken to locking her in her room (with a baby gate) if I'm going to be out of sight for even a few minutes. Why to I have to do that with my baby girl if I didn't I have to do that with my boys?

Big Kid Drew

Here are a few pics of Drew at the park. He's such a big kid now! No training wheels on his bike and climbing all over the monkey bars. He's pretty cute, if I do say so myself.

They're Friends!

My kids love each other! Sometimes! I sneaked these pictures from two days in a row last week. The boys reading to Edie and then the very next morning, Dean feeding Edie her oatmeal. It's moments like these that make all the teasing, poking, hitting, yellling, not sharing, etc, worth it.

Kitchen Remodel

Here are before and after pictures of our kitchen. It took about 3 months of "cooking" in the laundry room, but now that it's over, we're very happy with it. Actually, we're not totally finished-- we're still waiting on a new slider out to the deck and new window treatments and base boards... The list goes on. But we're mostly done.
