Our Primarys Got Talent!

The 2nd Annual Primary Talent Show for our ward was Friday night, and I must say, it was even better than the first. It was a little shorter, which is good, and the talents were so cute. Of course my own children were brilliant. That's a given. But (don't tell them) they weren't my favorite. My favorite was little 5-year-old Dylan W. He came dressed in costume: ripped jeans, ripped rocker t-shirt, hair all spikey and a Guitar Hero guitar for a prop. He gets up to the mike, stares out at the audience for a while and then starts singing. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in the softest little voice you ever heard. It was great!

Here are Drew and Dean with some of their friends. They performed an interpretive number to Star Wars music. Drew is in the white shirt, Dean in the brown robe.
I edited out a lot. You're welcome.

Edie described her talent as "a gymastics trick".
Afterward she was beaming when she whispered to me, "I put my feet up so high, didn't I?!"

And here is Evan, enjoying the music of someone else's performance. He not only walks now, he dances, too.

ER, Here We Come

Evan has jumped into Toddlerhood head first. That's probably why his head is full of bumps and bruises. Falls happen multiple times a day. Today he got a bloody lip, a big gash on his chin and I thought for a while a broken finger (but it's not, don't worry, just a big fat bruise) I get nervous if I can't see him because he has proven that trouble is never far away.

Hmmm. Reminds me of another toddler I once knew.

This picture was taken, of course, right before church. Messes never happen at convienent times I guess!

the Tooth Fairy buys in bulk at our house

Dean lost his first tooth. He is so excited!

Drew lost another one, too, which gives him a funny-looking smile and brings his count to 5 so far.

He's Almost Got It

Evan is so close! Walking is just around the corner, and we will once again have a toddler in the house. Pray for us.
